You could chamber to 6.5x54 and then use 220 Swift brass. The Swift has a .473" rim to fit your Mauser and the base diameter is real close to the 6.5x54. It is also plenty long to form 6.5x54 from. | |||

THe 6.5 Arisaka is a nice round but I wouldn't chamber a new gun for it. Only 1 company makes brass IIRC and it is expensive. Many Arisakas were rechambered in 6.5 Roberts. Me, rather than chamber it for that I'd chamber it in 6.5X55 swede, 6.5-06, or I think 6.5'08. | |||
