Found one for 285 bucks. Good material for a custom? I'd like to build either a 300 H&H or a 404, but I suspect the action is too short for the former. jorge

According to Kuhnhausen, "highly desireable" for a custom. I put one together in 35 Whelen. Worked out very nicely.

Should be able to use it for the 300 or the 404. Good action, nice price.

"There is a bloody brave little animal called the honey badger in Africa. It may be the meanest animal in the world. It kills for malice and for sport, and it does not go for the jugular-it goes straight for the groin. It has a hell of a lot in common with the modern American woman."

There is the main importer's warehouse of Brazilian contract 7mm Mausers right there in Florida, selling through commissioned salesman "Good Condition w/ Cracked Stock
..2 for $275" delivered to your FFL.

That VZ action looks like a good investment for an "new" sporter rifle!

VZ-24s are old enough to qualify for a C&R FFL.
You can get a C&R FFL for $30 and have them delivered to your door and no other dealer fees apply.

The C&R permit is $30, not the actions.

So do you have the contact info for the importer?
