Every great once in awhile... My wife's father called me about two hours ago wanting to know about old model 70's. A guitar picking buddy has one he wants to sell. He went to the gunshop with his father in 1947 and bought it. 30-06 standard rifle. Somehow, over the years somebody took it apart and lost the trigger guard and magazine box and parts. Stock is good, just a few minor steamable dents and dings. He went to a gun shop and they offered him a hundred dollars. I told him to have the guy call me. The guy just showed up with the rifle, wanting to know if I would give him $250. Yesssssssssssssssss. Just took it out and shot it, and it goes bang. Barrel is clean, minor fingerprint discoloration. The point: will the new old model floor plate, trigger guard, and magazine pieces fit? Rich DRSS

no, but the parts are common to all 1936-1963 model 70's, and not hard to find on flea-bay or Wisners
