I thought the most interesting part was the marks from the brass brushes on the crown, whiler there are none in the barrel.

There's a LOT of "ironing" going on in there! I'm almost thinking I might have to start breaking in my barrels....... Dutch.

Dutch, I too appreciated looking at the pictures. Looks like I'll have to treat my crown a little bit better on the EA Brown.-------Chainsaw

Thanks for pointing this out to us all. It is definitely worthwhile. I'm surprised a bronze brush does that!

Can you imagine a stainless brush!

Don, I must admit, I have a little bit of a hard time swallowing the brush thing. Seems logical, and the only other thing that comes through would be un-burned kernels of powder. They're going about 4000 fps, but is that fast enough to do this?

Did you guys notice in the pic of the 660 shot barrel -- the tooling marks on the SIDES of the lands are ironed out! Those bullets deform EXACTLY to the bore, don't they? Dutch.

Good picts. Thanks
What are the white dots that show on the crown? Could they be the cause of the marks?

Whales, I think they are just lint from the cleaning patch? Dutch.
