I have one of the new Remington X Mark triggers and no info as to which adjustment screw does what, any help?

The adjustments are the same as the old 700 trigger. The rear screw adjusts sear engagement. Stay away from it unless you know what you're doing. On the front, the top screw is the overtravel stop screw, the bottom screw adjusts spring tension. That's the one you want. I found a few of them where the spring was jammed in the adjustment hole. The adjustment screw did nothing. I had to remove the screw, pull the spring out with a bent wire and reinsert it. Mark Pursell

It's really easy, tap out the pins to remove the trigger and put a Shilen or a Jard or a Jewel trigger in. Then sell the Mark X uber trigger on the classifieds to defray the cost.

I would save the old trigger just in case you might have to send it back to Rem. If you send it back with an aftermarket trigger they will replace with a factory trigger and charge you for it.
