Having never having seen a push feed Winchester out of the stock I ask this question: Do both the push feed and CRF Winchester 70's have the same trigger system? My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

As far as I know Winchester used the same trigger style from pre-64 days until the new models coming from the carlinas. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Thanks. Would like to build the wife a nice .308 and could care less if the rifle was CRF or not. But I admit I am in love with the Win 70 style trigger system. My biggest fear is when I die my wife will sell my guns for what I told her they cost.

Up until the advent of the "New", new model 70 being produced by FN, all of the Model 70's had the same trigger system. "I ask, sir, what is the Militia? It is the whole people.
