Guys I have an older model three screw ,short frame 357 that I bought years ago to make into a 44 spl. It has the transfer bar conversion done to it and try as I might I can't make the trigger pull feel like anything other than what that pile of crap looks like it should feel like. Is there anyway to get the parts to convert it back to a 5 shot? I would gladly keep the hammer down on an empty chamber than have to put up with this. I called Ruger and they informed me that they have no parts to fix it back with. Thanks. (When I was a kid my father used to tell me that God hated a coward, I finally realized he has even less use for a fool.)

Try the Buy/Sell on the Ruger Forums. The 'conversion parts' come up for sale quite often or list a 'want to buy' ad. http://www.rugerforum.net/ Make sure you specify you need the parts for an old Model 357 as the hammer is different height than the 41/45/30cal Old Models
