My Win 70 LH Classic will allow the bolt to lift up more than halfway in the back locked positon. I caused the problem using to much force to lift bolt when safety was in the rear
position. What is the cure and how do I fix it.

Personally I'd return it to Winchester on bended knee and ask themn to repair it.

I would return it to Win. but rifle has been customized. Plus shipping rifle to Win from
Alaska costs more than a free repair!

You have partially sheared off the safety pin- depending on you level of expertise, you must disassemble the firing pin/ mainspring/ bolt shroud to replace the pin. Not difficult, but it helps to know where everything goes.
