Dear All,

I have obtained a Valmet Hunter M/88 rifle in .308 Win. The rifle appears to be a semi auto "AK clone" (albeit of better quality) in a civilian stock. I'd like to obtain a scope mount for this rifle. Can anybody point me in the right direction for brand, type and supplier (preferably Internet based)?? I have a Leupold with a 40mm objective and 1" tube I'd like to mount.

The receiver has some sort of rail (11mm ?) on top with a couple of notches milled into it. Are these related to scope mounting??

Watch for "Valmet scope mount" on ebay, you can set up a search so that when one pops up they will notify you. However some one on this forum who is more knowledgeable than I am will have to tell you if all the Valmet scope mounts are the same - they made them for the overunder double rifle, i.e., the 412, as well as the AK47 clone, and I do not know if they interchange.
