Browning A5 front sight bead thread pitch

I'm replacing a front sight on an old (1970's) Belgian A5. Does anyone know what thread pitch the sight bead is? I need to chase the base with a tap and find a new replacement bead.

Pretty sure it's metric 3x.5. You can retap to 4x48.
