I need help!
I need next year in spring reamers for the .30-40Krag. Does anyone here have such reamers that he could borrow against appropriate fee? Here in Germany, there is no one such as on loan has. I know it´s stupid, I'm sitting here in Europe and those who might have something, in USA. But maybe someone can help.
I don´t want buy this reamers. For one time use, 300 bucks are toooooo much.

300 bucks? I get them from PTG for 116. Midway has them for 95.

But here,the roughter and the finisher is priced at MidwayDeutschland with over 150.-Euro for every reamer. The PTG finisher at Midway USA is priced for only 95.-US.$.
At the moment, I´m thinking, to buy only the finisher. Somebody´s meaning, it´s enough for only one chamber..... Hmmm.....
I don´t want an other chambering. I have empty brass and the reloading dies. OK, a .308Win would be easier to "built", but I like rare chamberings.

You do not need a rougher; that is only for production use to save your finisher from wear; it will still last for many chambers before it dulls. All you need is a finisher. A finisher will last far more than just one chamber; I never buy roughers.

There are several places that rent reamers.
They may rent overseas with a fat deposit.
My 30/40 Krag is spooky accurate.

Postage back and forth will be more than just buying one.

Hmmmm, I know. I will look for the reamers here in Germany. When I don´t get any, I must buy the reamer. I saw the PTG at MidwayDeutschland for 155.-€......
Maybe, I can sell it after using at egun.

I will rebarrel my Ruger #1-S rifle with a 26" heavy match barrel (22mm at the muzzle).
I found also an gunsmith, who is competent, to do this job. By the way, he´s also a Luger 08 spezialist, completed the new made Krieghoff 08 pistols.
But the only problem is this dawn reamer.....
