What do you guys think of EAW scope mounts? Are they everything they're billed to be? Repeatable return to zero? Thanks, Jason "Chance favors the prepared mind."

Have you ever seen ANY manufacturer of scopes mounts that claims otherwise for their products?

They work as advertised. I have a set on my Sauer 200 but damn, they are high (physically and price-wise). They have nothing close to a low scope mount. OK if you have a 48-56mm objective. Probably the best part is the front ring on which the scope pivots is adjustable for play as the system wears, as is the rear lock-up cam. They won't wear loose like some systems. "Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.

Have used them on several rifles and always found them to return to zero if fitted correctly, however i have always ended up chaning to a fixed mount such as Talley as I found the Apel always placed the scope higher than optimum
