American Rifle Design and performance by L>R> Wallack has a chapter dedicated to the stock along with photos of stocks by Biesen and others.
Jack O'connor had some design ideas in his book on the hunting rifle and I believe Howe discussed some ideas in his book on paractical gunsmithing.

Jack O'connor had some design ideas in his book on the hunting rifle and I believe Howe discussed some ideas in his book on paractical gunsmithing. You may also want to look at Big Game rifle by Elmer Keith. I believe he included demensions he felt were importan for the rifle stock. I don't think there were diagrams but good direction.

The NRA "Gunsmithing Guide", long out of print, has lots of dimensions and tips on forming stocks. You might find a copy on ebay or amazon.

I got Jerry Fisher's prints, full size from Brownell's a number of years ago. I think they still have them available; if not try Jerry direct.
