Anybody know the specs for Greener GP action threads? Whats the story on the firing pin assembly? We are thinking of using one for a Big Bore project.-Rob

The GP shotgun, and probably the police guns, are about 1.08in.x14. Here is a link (search on Shooters) that has a lot of info..

rob,
this is from memory but i built a 45 colt rifle several years ago using the big shotgun action.the original firing pin had three prongs that came through three corresponding holes in the bolt. i had a friend do a gov't job on it at a very high tech manufacturing facility to close the bolt holes. i don't remember exactly the steps, but it wasn't hard to then make it into a centerfire. have you tried contacting navy arms company in new jersey. over the years i bought several large martini actions only , from them and made them into 45-70's and 30-30's.
