Can the trigger be adjusted on one of these?

Yes,and it can be shipped to the factory and they will adjust it to around 3lbs.

I sent mine in a year ago and they adjusted it down to 3 1/2 lbs., the minimum they will do. At that time the turn-around-time was just over two weeks, but they can get backlogged quite a bit at times. Good idea to give sufficient lead time before you need the rifle back for a hunt, etc.

Thanks. That beats the turnaround time at Winchester by about 10 weeks. If they do this at the factory for you, I wonder why they don't just ship them out at 3 lb. I guess they can always go back and say the customer asked for it [Roll Eyes] .

Here is a link to a good site with instructions on how to do the trigger job yourself. Instructions come with plenty of photos, and seems to be foolproof.
