I believe your only choice is a trade if you want something other than a belted magnum. It would be pretty hard to get something like a 223 to feed through that magnum action. Sounds like you have some fine swapping goods though.
Another option would be 120gr Nosler BT. I would think that would be a fine varmint round.

It is a very nice rifle setting in my closet not being used. I got it on a trade and its more rifle than I use.
I have been thinking of having it rechambered but do not know what is possible.
I have been doing alot of coyote hunting with a 223 and like the round very much.
I have a few questions though.
1)what caliber could I rechamber/barrel for(223/22-250/243)?
2)what would be the rough cost?
3)should I sell/trade it for something instead of reworking the rifle?
any info would be appreciated.
