Sandy McDonald over at Dressels sent more photos today. The project is moving right along. He say's it should be done in about a month give or take. It's going to really look nice after the checkering and it's all the same color.

Not much commentary tonight.

It started out as this

First pictures

These show the progress.

Well, that's it for today.

Terry,

That is one good looking stock, great design and excellent figure.
You'll have a fine looking rifle when finished.
Gotta love the double set triggers too.
Kudos to you!!

Terry,
That is going to make a great looking rifle. I wish I had changed the bolt on my 21 before I stocked it. I wish I had changed out the double set triggers also but I can still do that. I always liked the trigger guard bow that came with them.

Hope to have some photos similar to that for you in the near future.

Getting Dressels to do this one has been a lot of fun. They were just finishing one when they agreed to do this one and there was no waiting. Sandy is working for them full time now so he's been going at this one none stop with Paul looking over his shoulder Smiler.

Chic, I've got a special place in the safe already for the one you're doing for me. I'll be calling in the next few weeks just to see what's going on.

Terry,

Hope all is well.

The little Brno looks great, kind of gives me some thoughts on what to do with my little 21H.

Looking forward to seeing a bit more as progress is made.

You got it. everything from a 4 panel checkered bolt knob to a custom contour on the barrel. It should be very nice when finished.

Very Nice Indeed !!

The Brno 21/22 series is one of my very favorites.
The new bolt handle looks great and the wood superb.
I like the shotgun style trigger bow and double set triggers - very classic. The open slender grip and classic lines show great taste and follow pretty closely the original lines of the 21H.
I can hardly wait to see it with checkering and final finish and blue. It's going to be a stunner.
Please keep the photos coming. BT
