I've been noticing lately way too much talking going on and not enough pictures. So in an effort to stop this nasty trend, I grabbed a variety of guns out of the safe and snapped some photos. I am not a photography expert and this was spur of the moment, but at least it's pictures. I will put them in separate posts, so let's get started.

I also usually prefer pics.

but i do need to plead for yall's help with soemthing. Please, please, PLEASE resize your pics to avery small size. All of those extra bytes used in pictures do not make them look any better on the net. THey do not give your picture any extra detail or do anything at all to enhance its viewing by soemone on the internet.

But they do shut down folks' internet if you live in places like I do. I have tried dial up, sattellite, and DSL here and am on the fastest connection I can get, yet many threads are unreadable for me. If you can figure out how to post a picture on this forum, then you can figure out how to shrink them.

I was actually thinking of starting a thread on this after I could not load the pics on a couple of threads posted last night. I think they had pics I wanted to see, but it was taking forever to load. These did not lock up Explorer, but whatever was in the pics was not owrth it for me to wait to see them. At least I hope they were not worth the wait. knowing my luck, it showed a naked Kate Moss holding th eguns or something. Now THAT is a picture worth waiting for!!!

I like it when folks post pics too. As they say, pics are worth 1000 words.

If you do not have resizing software, or if your provider doesn't automatically resize for you, and if your camera has any sophistication whatsoever, you can resize by shooting at a lower resolution right in your camera. For purposes of AR you can get by with somewhere between 3 and 5 MegaPixels and still put up a very nice photo.

All I can add is make sure you use enough light, and make sure you fill in the shadows by using a reflector or another light.
