| No; If the X bolt is like the A bolt, they are not the same. Rem is 1.062x16. |

| Browning A bolt are not metric but much finer thread than Remington, I think 30-TPI. I’ve re-barreled many of them but can’t remember exactly the TPI.

| And they love to loctite those fine threaded Browning barrels on. I usually use heat to get them off. |

| Some years ago, Browning advised against removing the barrels due to potential galling...In fact attempting to do so voided warranties. Not sure if that's sill the case |
