Need help with 1936 Mexican Mauser

I recently obtained a M1936 Mexican Mauser action without the triggerguard. I bought a triggerguard on Gunbroker and action screws from Brownells (Forster and B square). When the receiver and the magazine box are mated up, the rear action screw is too short to engage the threads on the action.

What model of triggerguard will fit this action? I know they are shorter than the normal model98. What can I get that will get this thing shooting?

I'm just messing around with it right now, not trying to build a custom gun.

Thanks,

Al

Mr. Wiebe has just advised everyone that he has made a run of triggerguards for the Mex action.

As you may already know, the 1936 is rare and valuable enough that if you just want to "mess around" with an action you might be better off selling that Mex and buying a more common mauser action.
