Here is a picture of my problem http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v297/DonnieC/sight.jpg[/IMG]] Does the front post go level with the top of the rear sight structure (1) or level with the bottom reduction (2). Its on a 835 Mossberg slug gun. I am thinking its a 50 yard 100 yard sight but I dunno. "There are creatures here that cannot even be found in books, and I have killed them all......"

If it is for the two yardages, then hold top of post level with 2 for 50 yards, and level with 1 for 100 yards. That said, I don't like it because it covers up too much of the target, like a buck horn rear sight. Cute gimmick though.

I was thinking that but the next time it comes out for use, I wont have a chance to experiment. I was checking to see if anyone has had experience with this model. "There are creatures here that cannot even be found in books, and I have killed them all......"

If they still make them, put a Scope Chief 1.5-6 on it. I had an 835 topped with this scope and it survived the pounding from magnum turkey loads and even some 3-1/2" slugs. You will need to glue the mounts if you do this. ****************** "Policies making areas "gun free" provide a sense of safety to those who engage in magical thinking..." Glenn Harlan Reynolds

The scope had to come off. At this point, I am going iron sights only. "There are creatures here that cannot even be found in books, and I have killed them all......"
