Have a couple stripped scope base holes in my Whitworth. So I order the kit from Brownells to drill out and tap the holes to 8-40.

There is "holder gizzie" in the kit. What in the heck is it for????????????????

Thanks.

I beleive it's a "Screw Holder Gizzie"; a device for holding the screw when you have to shorten the thread length.

Since my last name is Holder I was a bit worried about this thread. I feel a bit better now.

This is my rifle, this is my Gizzie...
