I have lost my instructions on the older Savage trigger to include the 111. Anyone remember where they are? I think many years ago I printed from the Sniper's Hide. But I didn't find it there. This old gun has a heavy trigger. TIA Packy

Replace the trigger set spring with some piano wire. That should get you below 8lbs.

Thanks. It WAS on Sniper Country but I lost track. http://www.varminthunters.com/...avage110trigger.html is what I found with the help of the Savage Collectors on 24hrcampfire.

When I looked closely at the trigger it was a bit different. There is a coil spring instead of a flat music wire for trigger tension. Couldn't find an adjustment for trigger travel. The barrel says Savage 111. Any ideas? Aftermarket maybe?

can you take a picture? That sounds kind of weird.
