Can someone post a picture of one of Darcy Echol's Legend stocks? I understand they're made by McMillan and I'd like to take a look at one.
What are your thoughts on the deisgn?
Is the pistol grip very open or more vertical? What's the DOH? etc.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Brian

I don't have acess to photos but know D'Arcy is trying to set up a web site and maybe it is up by now.
The grip is rather open but large enough to still maintain a firm grip.

Echols Legend rifle, including the Legend stock. I believe the rifle pictured belongs to Allen Day.

Nice rig,
but if you want to do somethin yourself you can get Smithsonrings($400+?) that are integral ring&base also, except the ringcaps clamp at an angle rather that vertically.
any idea what a guy gets hammered for a rig like that?

I do believe that Mr. Echol's will make you one out of wood if you so desire, although I think you need to buy the whole job from him in order to get it. A few years ago I saw a price of approximately $14,000 for the wood rifle, and I think when Allen Day was buying his McMillan stocked Legends the price was somewhere around $7000, which I am sure that with inflation has probably gone up considerably since then.

They're (Legend) $12K now.
