I just bought another P17 (Rem) and am thinking of keeping it in near original configuration (it's cock-on-open already) including the dog leg bolt and perch belly.

The stock needs replaced, however. Can anyone post pics of P17 custom stocks that retained the bent bottom metal? I'd like some idea as to whether this can be gracefully done, its kind of growing on me.
