I have a Sako 75 stainless action for a semi-custom job and thought that some sort of engraved checkering type pattern would look nice on the bolt handle knob. Who could do this for me?

Thanks.

I bet AR's very own Scrollcutter could probably do it for you. He has previously posted photos of a bolt knob that he masterfully and beautifully engraved with scroll.

I had two boreing old round bolt knobs on old target rifles.
A gunsmith friend did his with flats in a hex or octangle design.

Anyway I put a sanding disk and drill in a vice and "touched" the knobs all over, which gave a novel looking engine turned look to them.
Blued one, left one in the white. (silver)
