| The serial number is in the track the bolt travels. I don't want to try to explain that to an African customs agent. For the same reason I need to have the caliber clearly shown on the barrel. The gun makers name is stamped in the wood under the barrel. There is not one mark on the barrel itself. |

| If you have an especially nice rifle, I'd spend the extra money for nicely engraved lettering by someone like Roger Kehr.
