I just finished filling a barrel channel on a HS Precision stock and would like to be able to add a custom paint job to the stock as a finishing touch. Will DuraCoat stick to the cured Acraglass? hangunnr ______________________ Proudly living in the USA where even Bill Klinton has more moral fiber than PPPoacher.

Yes, if the surface is not "slick". It might even with the slick surface, but I never tried it that way. Hubert

It's a little late now, but for future reference, you can use acrylic paint mixed into the glass to obtain the desired results of color match. These paints are easily found at arts and crafts stores that many wives like to frequent. I'd be awfully hesitant about painting over the bedding if it's actually touching the barrel, due to the fact that the paint will cause uneven build-up, which defeats the purpose of bedding to a point. If it isn't touching....no sweat. Williams Machine Works

Thanks for the replys guys. The barrel is still floated, so contact isn't an issue. hangunnr ______________________ Proudly living in the USA where even Bill Klinton has more moral fiber than PPPoacher.
