I have a Husky 146 on a Model 98 in 9.3x62 (re-chambered from 9.3x57).

Are there any options to replace the front sight bead, and also the front sight hood?

I machine a cross dovetail and use Marbles sights; the original Husqvarna sight inserts are not available. They insert from the front as you know. Hoods are available from Numrich.

Have also used the Masterpiece inserts either by modifying or cutting the dovetail.
