hey guys, got a 25 auto a friend wants me to get back on its feet for him. old gun, he hasn't shot it in years and I haven't taken it to test fire yet but it worked last time. Magazine seems fine. Problem was the plastic grips had broken in half and needed replacing. I just got off phone with Triple K and ordered one new mag and a new set of grips (gosh I'm glad, was not happy about making a set, had one side done but there were complications). My question is this, after a good clean and test firing, if it fires no problem can I assume the main spring doesn't need replacing? If it does need replacing where can I get one? I'm guessing the 25 auto is so low power that it doesn't take a lot of tension in the spring to cycle the action. I have not gotten it apart yet, but think that I just saw a reference that had the directions. Thanks Red | ||
