| Kory, for a walking hunting stock I prefer the Mcmillen Classic hunter to any of the H-S. The H-S is ok if you plan on still hunting or maybe from a tree stand. What one are you looking for as I have a spare Classic for a rem 700 LA that I might part with. |

Jimmy, This is going to be a long range varmint rifle that I may also use in some competition. I'll be shooting mostly off of bags. The action is a Remmy ADL R/H SA with a Lilja HV barrel. Regards, Kory |

| Kory, sounds as if the H-S will work just fine. I have had several and even a couple of takedown two barrel sets and the get damn heavy at the end of the day. good luck with the project |

| I have used the h-s precision stocks and prefer my mcmillans. Some gunsmiths that I have talked with are now skim bedding the stocks with the aluminum bedding blocks claiming it makes for more consistant accuracy. |
