Hi all I own a Steyr Classic SBS, that has the "Mannox" coating over the metalwork. Much to my dissapointment, it has a few minor areas of rust that have formed on the barrel and receiver, thanks to my cousin borrowing the rifle and exposing it to moisture for a period. My question is, does anyone know if this can be fixed easily by any gunsmith? Or, would I have to send the rifle back to the Steyr factory to get it recoated? Has anyone else had this issue? Many thanks for your comments ftnz PS moderator - I put this post in "gunsmithing" as I think it has gone past the point of "gun cleaning". | ||
