Scrollcutter, thanks for photos ! i wonder how much it would cost to stock a rifle like that ?

Depending on the stockmaker. I'd say 2 grand minimum for the labor. Probably 500 for the stock.

On mine, I believe Ray was getting about 2800 for the labor. Chic would know that better than I.

Roger, Can you tell me the weight of that rifle?
Anyone else want to hazzard a guess at an appropriate all up weight for a 505?

Can't remember for sure. It's 11 1/2 or 12#. Jim Wisner told me it was a pound light for the 505.
