Just got this in my e-mail and though Iw ould mention it, on the 11th apparently japan woodworker (I think it is www.japanwoodworker.com) is going to have a tax free sale. I know it isn't much, but their products are supposed to be great (I have not had the extra money to find out) and this might help somebody here get something they want.
