His website is not available for some reason. Does anyone have contact info? I'd like to speak with him about purchasing a nice English blank.

What has been everyone's experience with this outfit, and do you still have pictures of the blanks you purchased?

Thanks David. I had his site on my favorites list, it wouldn't display for the past two weeks or so. Your link came right up though.

Have bought 6-8 English blanks form him. Met him in Reno once. Nice guy and fair prices on his wood. If I needed a blank today, I would tart with Preslik and not look anywhere else if he had soemhting that I liked.

Both the in progress blank in the rear and the finished rifle in front are from Preslik's.

Good Guy, Good Wood, Good Prices. We just bought 6 more blanks from him. Like MS said, he's one of the first guys to check with for good wood at a fair price..............DJ

You don't know me but I buy about 10-20 blanks a year. At the Guild show I pick through the blanks at Preslick's booth. I usually stay in the 300-600 range in wood and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite two makers buy all of their wood from Jim as his stuff is priced very well for the quality. I have also discovered recently Lexus walnut. I picked up one blank at the guild auction and then later a fine blank in Dallas. Then we really got down and dirty and bought 10 more blanks from them. They have really fine Turkish and some great Calafornia English to choose from. Great stuff here.

I let him steal that one in the block. He will get a wonderful rifle out of that one.
