I am trying to get some info on the Winchester 348 head space and case dimensions:
1] What are the dimensions for a "No-Go" chamber-head space gage for a 348 Winchester.
a) What are the standard case head dimensions for the no-go head space gage for the Win. 348.
b) If there is no info for a No-Go gage, what would be considered typical head space and
c) what would be considered typical maximum head space for the Win 348.

2] What are the case dimensions of the 348 case and the body taper angle.

Info Received:
The case rim nominal thickness is 0.070.
SAAMI listed maximum head space is 0.077.
By analysis, any head space exceeding listed max is excessive.
Also by analysis a No-Go gage would be 0.0772 +0-.0001

This one was necked down from the black powder .50/70 case. .33 was on the .45/70. Fits in a Siam Mauser, at least when Mr. Ackley does the work. Luck.
