A question for you Sako guys in-the-know. I have a Sako L579 barrelled action in 7mm-08 that I need a stock for and was wondering if any of the other Sako models (L691, etc) will work for this with a minimal amount of adjustment or should a person just stick with the proper stock? The reason for asking is that I'm having trouble finding a L579 stock at a reasonable price and can't get a response from the Sako or Beretta websites, but I have seen stocks for other Sako models and was wondering how much difference there is in the fit.

The L591 stock won't work without modification, but the Hunter stock for the AII action is an exact fit. The L691 is for the later model long action. Lou
