My son and I are going to Dallas for a couple days. We are planning to hit Cabelas and the Beretta Gallery.

Are there any other gun shops to visit in Dallas?

Thanks!!!

TBD:

The Beretta store is great. The manager is named Ian Harrsion, good guy.

Good italian restaurant around the corner called Patrizio's.

When I lived in Cedar Hill, I used to buy guns at a place called B&S in Garland and they had pretty good prices.

My in-laws are from the Dallas area. My father-in-law and I when wanting to just go and kick around away from the women used to go to a place called Ray's Hardware and Sporting Goods on Singleton Blvd. It's a bit west of downtown and to say the least a bad section of town. From the street it's not much to look at, in fact it looks like a bit of a compound.

But, there were always a lot of unique guns that you just don't find everywhere and the guys behind the counter were always friendly.

New Guy the Heym guy is at Jackson Arms. Nice stuff in a small shop. Gun Zone on I30 in Mesquite is a good place. See Kim LeHew there. I would recommend Ray's also. They have been around many years.

Jackson Arms used to be located across from the SMU campus, specialized in high end antique arms. My grandfather always took me there when I visited in the 50s-60s. Buckhorn Guns was another institution. Time flies. I wouldn't know what's good now, the Cabela's north of Ft Worth.
