At the risk of being branded a heretic, it seems that a Mosin could be made into an approximation of one of the old Jeffrey Mannlichers. Has anyone tried this? I'm not trying to make a Rolls out of a farm tractor. However, I believe it might make a fun iron sight project. | ||

Sounds like fun. Something I learned the hard way about Mosins is they need to be hand picked. They are fun plinkers. -------------------------------------------- Well, other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play? | |||

that's a tokarev, not a mosin. svt-40 is my guess. | |||
