Yes, same ODs on factory 8x64, 9.3x62, 30-06.

You might reconsider reboring though, 8x64 is a great round in and of itself, easy to load using 06 brass, scarce in the ZG. Rebore a Hussar.

Others will chime in with their experiences, I' sure. FWIW, I've had 3 guns rebored by JES Reboring in OR. Great price and quick turn-around. 1 was rebored to 338-06, the other 2 went to 9.3x62mm.

http://35caliber.com/

JES Reboring Website

I had Jesse do a couple of jobs for me also and am very satisfied. Both were rebore to 35caliber. Turnaround 2wks on each job.
No more waiting 8months to a year+ for a bbl rebore job.

Don't know what his chamber reamer selection is, contact him for info.

No email last time I checked. Call and let the phone ring. He might not hear it over the noise of the machine(s). Leave a msg if he doesn't pick up and he WILL call you back.

This is what the gentleman advertises on his website:

'Bolt Actions 223,243,270,06,308 to 338 Federal, 338-066,358, 9.3 X 62 Mauser or 35, 375, 400 Whelen'

Sounds do-able,,I'd give him a call if interested.
Or any of the people that advertise the service.

I've used Clearwater Reboring too (Jim DuBell). Excellent work, The turn around time was 8mo and 10mo for the 2 jobs.
I don't know what his work load is now,,I doubt if it's less though!
