I sent my old Rem 700 ADL 30-06 (bought in 1962) to Pac-Nor for a new barrel. I had them replace the old 20" barrel with a 23" chrome-moly in #1 contour. Now it feeds so smoothly I can't feel the round being chambered, and it's very accurate. The stock will replaced with a McMillan when it gets here. The fun part is working up new loads with 165 & 180 grain bullets, and it's going to be a great all around hunting rifle.

I also have a PacNor on my 30.06. I must say, that with the other brands of handlapped bbls I have, the PacNor fouls the least...well, it's right there with the Broughton-Richards.

Good Shooting.
