I bought a used 6PPC barrel by Rob off EBAY of all places . The former owner had tried it for a few hundred rounds before giving up on it. I bought it to use for practice, so that I could save my regular barrel for matches. It shot rather well when I read conditions properly (wind and mirage). I am sure it shoots better than I do .

Here are a couple of the better groups with it, and some of the worst groups with it as well (five shots at 100 yards).

I won a lot of benchrest maches in the early 90's with Rob's barrels. I never had a bad one. I shot both 22's and 6's. I had one of them with a 22 PPC chamber that got me 4th in IBS score shooter of the year.
