Was thinking about changing my ruger no.1 is there another action that the old barrel will fit? Like the ruger 77?
Thanks

Unless the barrel is special to you it has it's highest value right now assembled where it is.

So sell the #1 and buy another gun.

Well yes and no. A take-off Ruger barrel isn't worth much more than $50 around here. When you factor in the gunsmithing fee to fit it to a M77 it won't really be worth it. You can't just screw a No. 1 barrel into an M77.

What caliber is the #1. I might be interested in the barrel. Mart

"...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks."
