Hey all...

I've got an old Riihimaki Sako that is in excellent condition except for two things.

One, someone put a matte black coating on the barrel and I think it looks like hell. I would like to the whole gun to have that polished blue look that they came with.

Two, a pachmayr white line recoil pad was installed and I would like to put something close to the original setup back on.

Any thoughts on who would do quality work on what I want done? Any Sako "experts" out there that I could talk to?

As always, thanks for your help and input.

I'll never be able to give back to this forum all that I've learned from it. But I do want to thank those of you that have helped me out over the years.

Tip Burns in Canyon Lake, TX. (830) 935-3338

He reblued the Sako belonging to a good friend and did his usual flawless job. Lots of AR guys are using Tip for a variety of services, but bluing is one of his specialities. Bob

Thanks bobc. I dropped him a line today so we'll see what happens.

I searched and searched and couldn't find a bad thing said about him.

Thanks again for the tip. Smiler
