I just picked-up a 1989 Springfield that had a nice job done sporterizing it. It is in good shape but it's been worked on enough to have lost its collector's value. My intent is to have it rebarreled (in 30-40)and re-blued. My intent is to refurbish it as a turn-of-the-century sportster. Is anyone aware of after-market triggers for the 1898? Also, it has a nice stock on it but since I'm going all-out on the metal, I'd like to see what wood may be available. Any suggestions?

A Krag.

Here's a googled page, maybe fun to browse it.

I passed on a beauty of a Krag last year- at this point, I'd still like to get a shooter.
