Anyone here had experience with a trigger job on the CZ Bobwhite? I'm looking at getting one for some light shooting for doves and quail and noticed that most of the ones that I've handled in the shops have trigger pulls of 9+ lbs. Is it a possible do-it-yourself deal or a gunsmith deal?

Hmmmm. . . . the Bobwhite double triggers must be quite a bit different from my Ringneck single-selective trigger. It breaks pretty cleanly at a reasonable weight.
I have no idea what is involved, but I would think that if you can get to the mechanisms you could clean up the mating surfaces, or perhaps grind a turn or so off of the springs.

Does anyone know where on the internet an exploded view of this shotgun may be found? I've tried a few websites that have a lot of views but this one was not included.

fairly straight forward design with lots of hand work required to clean them up. Maybe new wire sear springs. I opened one up to do for a customer figuring it would be simply changing the sear angles, I was wrong. No bolsters on the sears which were rubbing on the action body....pretty ugly, but fixable. After informing the customer that additional costs would be involved, he changed his mind. I'm sure I could improve one, just not for the normal fee. If you know what should look like you should be able to improve the triggers on one. Steve
