Martin Looks nice but I would like to know how the Grade AAA Extra Fancy looks like. At Dressels the best English walnut cost $2800 and here it costs $329 there must be a difference. Try this site they have pictures of the stocks then you can se the wood before you buy it, That is always nice. They are not as expensive as Dressels. He can make a nice stock for $ 500-600. http://www.gunstocks.com/highmaus.html Here is the link for Dressels they are top draw. Check out English walnut 2800 WOW http://www.dressels.com/id169.htm Cheers, Andr

I used a couple of their stocks that were nice. Then again I've returned 2 or 3 of them 'cause they were crap. They're not real fast or big on customer service. They do, however, honor their moneyback guarantee.

I have used several of the stocks from Richards in the past. The quantity of wood and shaped stocks is great! Finishing a .416 Taylor with a laminated stock. Really need to visit the place and see what they have if possible.

????? richardsmicrofit?????? just heard bad things. Ive talked to them several times. bla bla .. I went with Great American gunstocks. I think they are a better choice. GAG, I found out are more no B.S. and "can" give you a beter product. Ya got to spend the money to get your own experience, But buy a few from GAG and fit/ and finish them ,then step up to the high dollar blanks and stock duplcator guys Rick

I have used several RMF's and been pretty happy with them. If you are looking for an exhibition piece I would go there. But if you are wanting a really good stock that requires very little inletting go with RMF. I purchased 2 stocks from GAG and was very disappointed in their inletting. It was barely 50% inletted on both stocks. And that is dead serious. I dont know if they still come that way but I wont bother with them again to find out.

I bought one of their seconds in Claro, the wood is fails the finger nail test but is quite showy.I will be epoxy coating under the finish,so that's a so what.I ordered the roll-over to get more wood.I am happy with it.

Wow... I guess its a crap shoot. Ive only bought from GAG and they are kind of hard to communicate with ,( cant give you any geometry imfo on thier styles). My inleting was good but their toe lines are high. Least the ones I got . Their gary goody had a very high toe line. Idareds brother , grandview has bought alot from GAG and I went with his advice. had to send one back because it was a funky style but the inletting was good, I heard the oppisite about richards microfit. But you guys now say they are good,,,,,Hmmmmm,,,,, Hell....Ordering blind ups sucks anyway.

My Richards Microfit experience; Inletting was mostly good, shaping (old classic) was lacking and not very detail oriented. Ive got a Fajen semi that has a much better inital shaping. Wood quality was somewhat dissapointing to me, but I guess thats like Mc Donalds, they always look better in the pictures. Still a decent piece of wood though with good grain flow. If customer service or prompt service means anything to you then try elsewhere. Personally Id rather have what I want then the ability to return what I dont want. Overall impression, they are the fast food service of gunstocks without the fast. If all you want is a pretty/serviceable semi inlet then they can provide it at a nominal cost. Personally Im looking forward to starting from my own blanks.
