Yo ! I have a model 65 AYA 12 gauge SxS. It is stamped Sauer but made in Spain. Single trigger .. raised ventilated rib ... I love the darn thing ... however it shoots low for me so I ordered from Brownells a slip on leather (pad?) something or other to get my cheek higher on the comb. I took it out to do some shooting with some local rednecks. I shot a box or two quite quickly and suddenly .. every 5 or 6 shots it would fire both barrels at once. Being a rugged outdoorsman, the kick was tolerable ... but I don't want to do it again .. What is wrong with the damn musket ??? And should I get it fixed it or just throw it in the river ???

It is going to be either a sear engagement problem, easily corrected, or, an inertia block clearance problem, also easily corrected. Depending on how much you wish to spend on it, rather than throw it in the river, you might use it for a canoe paddle. Here in the states, the repair might cost $50.00-75.00 plus freight. Up yonder, who knows. _______________________________________________________________________________ This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine. Yo, Westpac ! Thank you so much for the heads up !! I asked the local gunshop about their gunsmith that they use in Saskatchewan .... Stuff sent out 'rush' in March has not been touched. So I have another lead in B.C. Not much for gunsmiths here in Southern Alberta.
