Another Mauser Question
Hi All,

I'm new here and have kind of a silly question. I have two mausers. I've noticed that one has the triggerguard fitting tightly up against the receiver. The other has a visible gap between the two pieces of about 1/16" inch. Which is correct? Or, assuming neither is, how should the pieces fit together?

well, I don't know if this is correct or not, but every mauser I have has the metals touching each other.

There should be a slight gap to prevent the triggerguard from exerting pressure on the receiver. 1/16" sounds like a bit much though.
