I am in need of having a barrel for a Winchester blued. I just installed the barrel for a customer and so far I have had little to no luck in finding somebody in the North Carolina area to hot blue the thing for me. First guy who has the barrel has had it for 6 weeks and done nothing and I talked to two more outfits that do gun bluing and one had a 12-14 week backlog and the other 6-8 months. Holy mackrel! Is there anyone out there that can turn it around in a couple of weeks? blair "Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading".

There is guy in Mebane at BullsEye gunsmith ( I think that is how he is listed ) that might be able to do it. He has done a few things for me and is a bit pricy - but I was satisfied overall.

I'm only a short ways away via USPS, UPS, FEDEX and I can usually turn stuff around in two to three weeks depending on when it gets here. John Farner If you haven't, please join the NRA!

I will vouch for John Farner AKA toomanytools. He has done three for me in the last 18 months. First class work. Lyle "I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice. I would remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue." Barry M Goldwater.

Many thanks to John Farner at Eagle Machine & Gunsmithing (toomanytools) for a good job and fast turnaround on the barrel bluing. Blair "Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading".
